FG Approves NYSC Members' Monthly Allowance Increase to N77,000, Significantly Boosting Youth Service Incentives
The Federal Government has approved an increase in the monthly allowance for National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members to N77,000, effective July 2024. The increase aligns with the National Minimum Wage (Amendment) Act 2024, significantly boosting the previous allowance of N33,000. This decision, welcomed by the NYSC Director-General, is expected to uplift corps members' morale and commitment.
